Nina DeLauren is an award winning actress, go-go
dancer, and model of Mexican and French descent. She
hails from San Antonio, TX and now lives in NYC.
Nina has won two Best Actress awards from the Texas
U.I.L. competition for her portrayal of Gwendolyn in Os-
car Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest and Viola
in William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. She achieved
the honor of being the 1st place winner of The Hispanic
Heritage Youth Foundation Acting Scholarship after writ-
ing, producing, and performing a self-written monologue.
Upon graduating high school, she auditioned for The
American Musical Dramatic Academy where she was not
only accepted, but awarded with a $10,000 acting schol-
arship for her audition performance. After graduating
The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Nina has
been seen in countless stage plays and YouTube shorts,
and recently debuted in a feature film which premiered
at the NYU Cantor Film Center. Nina hopes to further her
acting, dance and writing career in 2013 by continuing to
dance the night club circuit, performing in films, and writ-
ing and producing a new web series for youtube.com
In terms of modeling, Nina is set to shoot with seven
photographers this summer alone and looks forward to
many more exciting opportunities to showcase herself as
an artist. Her main goal is to break the stereotypes that
Hollywood continues to push onto Latinos and be a voice
for her generation in the NYC artists’ community.
