What hobbies do you have?
I love going out for a walk and enjoy
the sights of my El Salvador. I love to
learn more about the traditions and
culture of peoples. I love to do all of
that with my fiancé and my family. I
enjoy going to the beach and get a
nice suntan for a few minutes. I love
to listen to the waves and feel the
breeze, I love sleeping in a hammock
under a tree, in the countryside or on
the beach. I like to go to the mov-
ies, and pay close attention to history,
eating popcorn, and I love being in my
bedroom, alone, thinking and watching
movies.
What do you for fun?
I enjoy being with my brothers and
have fun with them, listen to Ricardo
José (my fiancé) laugh at my stuff, be-
ing surrounded by good friends, but no
matter the place but the appreciation, I
enjoy traveling and seeing places and
people.
If you could take to roll the clock
back, to what point in your life you
would take and why?
I have so many beautiful moments that
have marked my life positively, I prefer
the long run, and not go back, and so
always experience new things, and my
story made me who I am now.
You are a very smart woman, how
would you define sex and love. Do
you think complement each other
or one can exist independent of the
other one?
Sex, for me, is the satisfaction of natu-
ral necessity of a man and a woman,
where feelings are not involved, and
there is not any kind of commitment.
Love is the purest feeling between a
man and woman, where what really
matters is to make the other person
happy. It is to be his help and provide
protection, support, joy, understanding,
feelings and best wishes, where for-
giveness is essential. when a couple
really love each other, they don’t have
sex, they make love, as commonly
called, because they complement and
become one then, it’s nice that enjoy
well established couple enjoy that
intimate moment with his/ her partner.
If you do not have it or you cannot do
because of the age, love always exists
and can exist even in the time.
As a professional in the media,
imagine that you had to play music
to the scene of the moment your
boyfriend asked you to marry him;
what song would you play?
The song, “Promise” the singer is Fon-
seca, just that song my fiancé used for
the video he did to surprise me and
ask me for marriage.
What would you do if you won a
million dollars?
I am a business woman, or at least
I am learning to be, if I won a million
dollars, I will use it to pay my family
debts, and otherwise invest in real
estate and other businesses; and to
thank God, with the profit of the invest-
ment, I will give to charity, and to my
community.
Name someone who you really
admire.
The person I admire the most is my
mother, Sonia Escalante Iraheta. She
is a comprehensive woman. She is
a professional, an entrepreneur, a
mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a
friend, and she does everything excel-
lent. I have no idea how, but she al-
ways knows how to solve and succeed
in any situation. She enjoys to support
social work, is a member of the Lions
Club, and I know the role God plays in
his life, is the main, the master, and I
ask God to be at least half of the great
woman she is.
Which are the taboos you really
hate and which ones you think are
useless?
I definitely get bother with the taboos
that have to do with the development
and execution of women. I come from
a patriarchal society, but many women
take care of their children alone; I do
not like to think that we are made to
work at home and nothing else. You
think, not to study, that their participa-
tion in politics is not necessary to tell
me that a man with three women (Don
Juan) or macho man, and if a woman
does the same, is any one, cannot
stand those ways of thinking, and I
struggle to change that through my
work.
What is your greatest strength and
what is your worst fault, and how
those flaws affect you and how
those virtues benefit your daily life?
I take very seriously my various roles,
I do well or excellent, that causes me
stress and may cause me an angry re-
action or impulse towards others, that
sometimes causes me problems, but
as a virtue, I accept my mistakes and
I apologize, I’m very entrepreneurial
by nature and I love it and will not let
me be still.
Tell us a wish you have?
I wish one day I will become President
of El Salvador that position would
allow me to work for my people, and
for my nation. I will implement princi-
ples and human values, and achieve
a project to emphasize the beauty of
my country at an international level,
and I will try to minimize, the traditional
negative news circulating all over right
now. El Salvador is the best country
in the world! It is awesome, and I will
dedicate all my life and work for my
country.
What part of a man’s personality is
what attracts you?
That is a man who loves God, who
is confident, who is an entrepreneur,
intelligent, his heart is full of love for
the neighbor, who loves to serve oth-
ers, his eyes show his inner beauty,
a protective man interesting yet fun; I
described my future husband.
Do you have a favorite literary
genre?
I like to read the Bible for excellence,
self-improvement books, biographies
of great personalities, all reading that
makes me grow intellectually and
motivate me to continue on my path to
success.
As a Latina, I surely enjoying good
tasty meals. Do you think the food
can be an aphrodisiac, so as to
transform the “kitty” you have on
your side in a whole lion?
