herry Fu is not common
girl in a traditional sense. She denotes
from the moment she begins to talk,
a special sensitivity to art and to life
itself.
When she got to our studio to shoot
for this edition of SEXY X2 MAGA-
ZINE, she seemed ethereal, graceful,
and utterly confident and very certain
of what she wanted to express through
her art as a model.
When did you start to model and
what drove you to this type of art?
I really think it my personality that
made me model art. I was always the
quiet one in high school of fashion. I
never care about others or how they
looked at me. I was the type of person
that always had a crazy vibe in my
inner thinking but I never say noth-
ing because they will think that will
ever happen because I was the type
that people cannot ever see through
me. I want to be the world’s number
one Asian artistic nude model. Others
I can fall to a level four or five but I
will still do my best on all levels of
modeling that go’s for fashion too.
How do you see the modern art?
How do you think regular people,
working in an office, or practice a
profession, is related to art?
To me modern art are different styles
of artistic production during the
area or a history that’s left behind it,
and as for an everyday life working
professional life can get really boring
sometimes, but is it related to art? To
me you can love art no matter which
you are and what you do….
You have a very personal style in
your way of modeling; it is visceral
and dramatic in its expression.
What do you want to transmit?
Personal style of model is a need now
in this industry, everybody want to be
a model that can attract all the looks
and style. For me I am a very dramatic
person myself. I want to express it in
art or fashion and just to be myself in
photos is what I am capturing to the
audience that is looking at my photos.
I do not want to be pretty a looking
model with a nice body and face. I
want to be different in every ways.
You can hate me and love me at the
same time.
Most of your work involves artistic
nude. Why?
Well I do have half art and half fash-
ion, people can go to www.cherry-fu.
com to visit and they will see the
difference, and as for artistic nudes. I
think is the best out of my other work.
However, I try to balance things out
but people see me as an art model or
fashion, but I can last longer in artistic
nude because fashion limits.
It is obvious that you prefer to pose
naked. Do you feel comfortable with
your skin and with your sexuality?
Do you think there should be limits
to the expression of sexuality in
your art?
I feel comfortable in doing all levels
instead of porn or Erotica but others I
