oliday season is almost here, and
with it the best holiday ever… Christ-
mas!!! That means gifts, family reunion
(even the annoying ones), lots of food,
joy, jingles, the big guy and his white
beard, and everything in between, but
it also means movies because, let’s face
it, beside Summer time, holydays is the
busiest time of the year in the film indus-
try, and it’s the best time to get cozy and
go watch a good one, right? And don’t
think for a minute that because is Jesus
birthday, all the films that comes out
are about happiness and good thoughts.
There are all type of movies released for
that season of the year. I’m about to give
awards to all categories.
Funniest Movie
• Elf (2003) starring Will Farrell.
• Bad Santa (2003) with Billy Bob Thornton.
• National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989) show-
casing Chevy Chase.
And the best one to makes us laugh until we cry is: Billy
Bob and
Bad Santa
with his drunken impression of Santa.
Special Mention Award
It is for
Scrooged
(1988). Bill Murray is haunted by his
greedy, cheap and grumpy personality personify in three
ghosts that makes him live, and re-live hell on earth.
