he clothes are the expression of this marvelous dream. Now we have the designer embracing
traditional tropes of femininity and womanhood.
On the runway show for spring we saw inspiration, creativity, hard work and all the adjectives
you can add to designer who make those collection bright and light New York City during the
fashion week.
They put garments like short black dresses in stiff satin, with panel print of flowers stitched in
different ways, white fur coats for spring, black satin coats meanwhile, were embroidered with
papery origami blossoms. The collections moved from dark to light, but by the end designers
manipulating, folding and wrapping duchesse satin in palest pink and green to evoke the ritual of
kimono dressing, now the Japanese elements came late in the design process. For spring we have
basic pieces easy to go and easy to combine to look fresh and different every day, like
pencil skirt, jackets and dresses. Let`s see how we can transform it in different looks.
Pencil skirt try it with tucked, wear with red bag, belt a blazer over it for work,
also look sharp with pointy red heels, go with white sweater, or top gun in leather
bomber, and how French is it with a scarf.
Dresses. Nothing does day to night like printed silk dress, make easy changes,
layer the dress over a back tee, tuck it into a skirt like a blouse, wear it loose
with booties, add a white jacket for structure, belt it and do loafers for work.
Throw it on open like a jacket, cinch the waist to add shape, bring out
the
leather leggings.
Remember to create those outfit don’t forget the accessories to make
perfect.
The colors for those holydays are white, black and some red. Happy
holydays.
