H
istorically, the boudoir formed part
of the private suite of rooms of a lady,
for bathing and dressing, adjacent to
her bedchamber, being the female
equivalent of the male cabinet. In later
periods, the boudoir was used as a
private drawing room, and was used
for other activities, such as embroidery
or spending time with one’s romantic
partner.
The term “boudoir” may also be
ascribed to a genre of photography.
Boudoir photography is not generally
a new concept and numerous ex-
amples exist of early Hollywood
stars such as Kathleen Meyers,
Clara Bow, Mae West and
Jean Harlow photographed in
a boudoir style.
However there is a bur-
geoning modern trend for
boudoir photography in
some countries. Typically
shot in a photographer’s
studio or luxury hotel suites,
it has become fashionable to create a set of sensual suggestive images
of women (and occasionally couples such as man/girl or girl/girl) in
“boudoir style”.
Boudoir photography runs a thin line between vulgar and good taste,
where only the masters of fine art nude photography can manage to
create, while exploring the delicate world of sensuality in the bedroom,
where nudity is often implied than explicit.
In this edition of SEXY X2, we will enjoy beautiful photos of Deidre
Janeth, our cover model, full of sensuality and gla mour;
and boudoir photography taken to its limits in an elaborated production
with Anastasia and Maria, in a suggestive game of seduction that will
warm up the pages of our magazine, done in perfection as only the
