FROM THE EDITOR
ot always, the standards of beauty have survived
unaltered through time, but one thing remained al-
most unchanged until the modern age: the glamorous beauty was
largely female.
Over the years, and with the feminist movements that tried to
equate both women and men, the weaker sex, won countless
spaces but also relegated some others; such is their prominent
position as the glamorous sex.
Our cover model shows clearly that in the actuality, gender and
age is no hindrance for someone who wants to show a very sexy
photo shoot, as our photographer Lucy Lencinas did with Barry
Word on the grounds of Republic Airport in Farmingdale and Rob-
ert Moses Beach, both places in Long Island, New York.
Now that we
are speaking of Lucy Lencinas, we
are proud to
share with our readers that she
has added a
further recognition to her long list
of awards.
This time it was delivered by
the govern-
ment of Colombia, where she
is native,
through the Consul General of
that
Country in New York for
the
artistic contributions she
has
made as Colombian to
the
culture of the United States.
