How old are you and where were you born?
I am 21 years old; I was born in Bay Shore NY. My parents
are from Portugal and Brazil and I love both countries be-
cause both of them have a lot to offer. I love their food and
love their culture. I have an 18 year old brother.
Do you go to school or do you work?
Yes I am going to Suffolk Community College, but I am unde-
cided about my career. I will try to get into flyer attendance.
Actually I am working at Shintaly Imports as a marketing as-
sistant, customer service and receptionist.
Why did you participate in Miss Long Island Portugal
LIPAC?
I was invited and I thought it was a great because I always
interact with the community of the Portugal Center in Long
Island since I was little, so it was kind of natural for me.
Did you participate in any other beauty pageants?
Yes I did, in 2000 I participate in Miss New York Sweet
Heart and go into the finals. In 2005 I participated in Miss
Guaruya in Brazil and got into the finals as well.
How did it change your life since you got your title of Miss
LIPAC?
I basically attend more events and Portugal activities and
lastly, I motivate the young generations to get involve with the
community, so they can continue with the beauty pageants of
the future.
Do you have any experience as a model?
Yes when I was in a modeling agency when I was 14 years
old and got to work a lot.
Since you interact with young people from Portugal, Brazil
and USA, what differences you see in them?
Well, there are big differences. Brazilians are very friendly
and warm, they like to party, while the ones from Portugal are
more serious. Also, they tend to mature faster in Brazil and
Portugal, while in USA, the laws are more strict but creates a
big problem because the teenagers start to drink at early age
while in Brazil or Portugal you can they drink more in the
open, so is less of a problem. In Portugal everybody drinks
wine with the food and is perfectly normal.
Are you dating anybody or are you single? What type of
guys do you like?
I am not dating anybody right now, I am single. I don’t have
a particular type of guy that I like,
However he has to be funny and very social. I like Latin guys
with darker skin, black or dark brown hair, and well build
bodies; I don’t like skinny guys. One important thing they
have to be between the ages of 21 and 35. He must know
how to dance.
Jessica, tell us how will you seduce a man you find attrac-
tive?
I won’t put myself out there, but if necessary, I use my sex ap-
peal in a way that won’t show too much. I will definitely find
a way to talk to him and get to know him.
And what if somebody wants to seduce you?
If I feel this person is really into me, he has to be very straight
forward. One thing that has to be there is respect and feels
he has all the control. if I said no, it means not at the mo-
ment, but maybe in the future.
What does a night must have to be romantic?
It has to start in a random day and spontaneous, by him tak-
ing control. We would go out to very nice restaurant, it does
not have to be expensive, but it has to look elegant. After
that, he would take me to a dance club. As I said before,
the guy I like must like to dance. Then he will take me to my
apartment and I still left him take all the control. He will kiss
me by pushing me to the wall, rip my shirt off, but still will be
some limits. He can’t push me to do something I don’t like.
Where is the craziest place where you would have sex to
fulfill a fantasy?
It will be in a public place, like in a park or something like
that.
