Saul Lopez did take a different career
path and diverted his painting into a
hobby until he started making some
portraits for his office coworkers. His
colleagues like the portraits, started
asking where he had purchase them,
and told them it was his own work.
Because of the encouragement and
suggestion of his colleagues to contin-
ue with his painting, he felt he should
take up art professionally.
One day searching for art galleries to
present his artwork in the internet Saul
found that IKARUS Gallery Cultural
Program was having an exhibition in
the Brentwood Cultural Festival and
he participated. There he met with Mr.
Jorge Guzman an IKARUS director
who opened the doors to his gallery
and until today and always will be
grateful for the opportunity to be part
of this artistic group.
Get to be known is not an easy task;
Mr. Lopez participated in the Latin
American Space Art and Arte Laguna-
Seventh International Art Prize Arte
Laguna: Pittura-exhibitions where
his art was not selected. Saul has had
the opportunity to display two of his
art works in El Museo Marte –Flores
y Espinas- in El Salvador (4/19/12
- 6/17/12) and will permanently be
displayed in Leon, France - Ahtzic
Silis Sculpteur / Graphiste (www.

nas_friends.htm). He deeply appreci-
ates Mr. Silis for the great opportunity
he gave him to participate in this grand
event in El Salvador honoring his
impressive art career that he has had
so far.
