eaera Erato is a 19 year old native Brooklynite who’ve al-
ways had a passion for modeling. Growing up around pageant
girls and models she loved the spotlight but was never in it.
Modeling was not her first passion, until recently it was
cheerleading. She loved all the hard work you would have to
put into a routine to make it look flawless and easy. This was
what led her to modeling, the idea that to the audience mod-
eling seemed easy but in actuality there is hard work put into
it. This led her to her start in modeling approximately 2 years,
where she discovered how much she loves it. She also started
modeling because she wanted to prove that you don’t have to
be a size 2 to be beautiful. Neaera is all about creating body
positivity being a plus size model who is not agency standards
she hopes to prove that beauty has no size limit and rules can
be bent. She hopes that she can get people to embrace and
love the skin they’re in.
She is currently a freelance print and commercial model who
enjoys doing glamour and pin up modeling but she is also
partial to alternative modeling because she loves the fun she
can have with it. Through these styles of modeling she feels
as if she can become a different person for a short time and
she enjoys being able to do this.
Neaera plans on pursuing her dream as a model and hopes to
continue to spread her goals of body positivity and self-love
while she is at it.
