Mustique
The name alone conjures up visions of a secret seaside par-
adise. And it is true that, until relatively recently, this island
lying 190 kilometers west of Barbados, was only accessible
to a privileged few.
Only around 12 square kilometers in size, this private island
is lined with sandy beaches, palms and turquoise colored
waterways. The owners and administrator of this little piece
of paradise are all part of the Mustique Company, a firm
made up of various shareholders and the island’s villa own-
ers from around twenty different countries.
Indeed Mustique is best known for its fantasy villas (they
start at $4000 per week to rent), as well as the relaxed
lifestyle and chilled out atmosphere.

most of the visitors, is to live in harmony with local nature.

safest islands in the world.

to the Australian state of Queensland, is a completely unique
kind of paradise.

with dunes as high as 240 meters, has been a UNESCO pro-
tected world heritage site. And although it may be hard to be-
lieve, Fraser Island really is completely made of sand right down
to its volcanic origins. The sand is a product of the slow erosion
of what’s known as the Great Dividing Range, Australia’s largest
and most important set of mountains and highlands.
On the island itself, there are almost 200 sources of fresh water,
